Conference Information
GABRAF was designed in the summer of 2013 to give students an opportunity to share their current research with others in related fields here at the University of North Texas (UNT). We believe that GABRAF is an excellent opportunity for students (both undergraduate and graduate) to organize their current research in a professional manner, to practice presenting their research, to get feedback on their research ideas, and to network with fellow scholars in, or around, the area. Because the audience is broad, spanning those who study physical, natural, and social sciences, it is an excellent opportunity to learn about new scholarship. All proceeds went to Keep Denton Beautiful; the donation totaled to over a hundred dollars. Presenters are encouraged to stay the entire day to both network and support other presenters. Attendees are welcome, and donations are appreciated. Abstracts Abstracts are limited to 100 words and are due by May 19, 2014. They can be submitted at the form linked to by the button on the right. Abstracts are tentatively capped at 75 submissions. Presentations The conference will be held in a normal format. Each presentation will be 15 minutes long, with 5 minutes for questions. Each session will include 5 presentations. There will be 5 minutes between sessions. |
